Here are Laurel's newest pictures. We would have liked to get her in at 18months but it just didn't happen till 19months(you know how that goes, purple maker on the face doesn't help:). We went over to Penney's and they have an all digital studio now. The photographer has a freestanding camera and she actually got down on the floor with Laurel and let Laurel kind of do her thing and just made it work. Laurel was a bit timid to begin with but warmed up a little. I did eventually have to give her some gummy bears, since I gave them to her brothers she wasn't going to have it any other way. That is what accounts for the funny little look on her face in this last picture. I really enjoy having portraits of the kids at similar ages, it is just something a little more set apart from the snap shots we take with our regular camera.

Did you go to JCPenney's at the Capitol Mall? I think I am going to go there. These pictures are so adorable. But then again, what pictures of your kids aren't?? I totally agree with the whole professional pictures being a little bit more special then the everyday pictures. They are so nice to have. Sorry I haven't come over, yesterday I had to be here for our couch delivery from 11-3, today my friend's babysitter got sick and I am babysitting her two girls from 7-5, and tomorrow, we are packing and leaving for Spokane for a baby blessing. Hopefully, we can come over next week. Is there anything I can do for you from my house?? I hope you are feeling better. :)
