Nathanael Christian Cheney

Nathanael just had his 7th birthday. It is a funny thing how once we become parents everything becomes dated by the age of our children. Like we moved into our house just before Nathanael turned one , wow we have lived here 6 years. Anyway back on track. Nathanael had a fun birthday, he had been looking forward to it for a long time , counting down the days. We asked him if he rather go to a movie or have a party, I was a bit relieved he said movie. So Mom took Nathanael, Seth and (cousin) Gabe to see UNDERDOG. I have to admit it wasn't anywhere as bad as I thought it would be. The boys had a great time and even the next day are quoting the movie, now I'll tell you that gets old fast. We did cake and ice cream at home and his friend Siris came over for a bit later in the evening to drop off a gift, he is such a nice boy.

• full of laughter (he has a laugh for all occations , happy, sad, scared, nervous. He use to and still does tend to laugh when he has done something he regrets, he calls it his "sad laugh"

• cuddly( it is such a nice thing when your big boy is still willing to crawl up into mom and dad's laps)
• smart
• fashionable (he is very specific about wearing his "cool" shirts, which usually are cotton with just the right graphic or color to them. He's pants are always to be a dark color, but sometimes he humors is mother.)
• active( he is always sneaking outside to ride his bike of play in the "forest", digging holes or climbing trees)
• artistic (our favorite drawing he has done lately is of Harry Potter, it was really good)
  
• a hard worker
• healthy (he is always asking for more salad and eating all his veges, it's is wonderful.)

• cooperative (he had to have a couple of procedures done in relation to his reflux and he was so great about doing everything he was asked to do.)

We are all so greatful to have Nathanael in our family, he gives so much to all of us, love, laughter, and so much more. We love our Bubba.
