Benjamin is, as of this picture, 9 days old and looking much more himself. He has lost all that puffiness he had right after being born. He is doing great, eating and sleeping and pooping like all good babies do. He is also still a big hit with all of his siblings, as your can tell by Laurel's big smile she loves Benjamin. Hopefully this continues. Benjamin has been a real pleasure. He doesn't cry much unless he is hungry, which is one of those easily solved problems.
Today his umbilical cord fell off. The kids where all very excited to see that he will have a belly button and not that yucky thing forever. It always seems like once this happens that babies are real little people with all the right parts.

Benjamin is a beautiful baby and what a blessing that he is a content little guy. Also, it's great that the other kids love having him as a new brother. Liz will be happy to see these pictures. She's been trying to get someone to post some so she could see this little cutey.
