A REAL SURPRISE!

Saturday Chris totally surprised me which he never is able to do even when he does try:) I always seem to stumble upon receipts or he has said something to the kids.
After all the kids soccer game/practices a friend of ours from church watched the kids, thanks Mary & David. I was feeling kind of down because Chris and I never do anything exciting. It's always dinner or a movie, it does get a little boring. As far as I knew we were doing nothing special with our time child free. Were talking in the car and then he gets on the freeway, "Where are we going?" I ask. "North" he replies with a little grin. This is so unlike him.
Well, long story short he takes me to see Swan Lake performed by Pacific Northwest Ballet. He had gotten great seats in the Orchestra. The music was beautiful and so were the sets, I loved the giant moon, and of course the dancing. My only regret was that I was a bit under dressed but that was alright even if I was wearing my tennis shoes to the ballet. Chris is really great and does so much for the family, he really sacrifices all his time and energy for us all so this was very above and beyond. We both had a wonderful time.

On one of our first dates Chris took me to see the Nutcracker which unfortunately he made us late for( I should have none than what my future would hold). The seats were not that great and we missed a bit of the beginning. I've always been a bit disappointed about this. Now he has definately made up for it:)

That is so exciting! How fun that he surprised you! Mark did that for me with a Martina McBride concert (one of my fave singers). Good job Chris!! That is so much fun! I'm glad that he got away with the trickery!! :)
