In mid-July we took our annual camping trip. This year we went to Cape Lookout State Park in OR. We had a great time going on little hikes, playing at the beach, flying kites, visiting the Tillamook Cheese factory, checking out the Cape Mears Lighthouse, shopping the Lincoln City Outlets, and chasing Benjamin out of the road. We could have done without the rain for the first couple of nights but the tent was great and we were all completely dry. Nathanael also showed his boyish tendency to pyromania and was banned from the fire. Benjamin couldn't get enough of getting himself soaking wet either in the ocean(stressed me out) are at the water spicket. Seth was lost from us on a crowded tour for about 10 frightening minutes(the first time we've ever lost a child that I know of SCARE!). Kaaltin was also daring in the surprisingly warm ocean waves as usual. Laurel lvoed choosing all the activities for her birthday which was the day with the best weather.
