students of the week

Laurel and Seth were very excited to be students of the week in there online class. They were able to share some pictures and poem about themselves. Of course they did them poems themselves.

Here is a description of the pictures that the teacher shared since we have no microphone:

Laurel beach pictures: Our family loves to go camping on the Washington and Oregon Coasts beaches. Laurel and all her siblings write their names in the sand each year.

Seth and Laurel: Last year Laurel and Seth both needed glasses, they are the only two children in our family with glasses right now.

Laurel and Cousin Soccer: Laurel loves to play soccer and it makes it even better that she gets to be on the same team with her best friend and cousin, Nina.

Lighthouse picture: This summer we visited Cape Blanco, OR and stayed in a cabin. We toured the lighthouse which is Oregon's oldest operating lighthouse. The lighthouse use to be lit with oil carried by the lighthouse keeper but it now uses electricity. We also saw whales on our trips and Seth had a great time flying his kite, making sand creations and exploring beach caves.

Seth's soccer picture: Seth loves soccer and is playing on the team "The South Sounders" he is having a great time and runs hard. His favorite part of soccer is just playing the game.
