Our little Benny had his first birthday September 5th. I think his big brothers and sisters were far more excited than he could possibly be. It is hard to believe that we have only had him a part of our family it seems more like twenty years has passed.
Benjamin is a really fun little guy. He is chatty and active and a real character. Some of the words he can say are mama, dada(of course even though he says dada far far more, no fair), ball (ba), nose ("na" while pointing to his nose), dog ("da"), no, "Hi"which he does with the cutest little wave, and his personal favorite right now is "Woa". We loves batting and throwing balls around, he throws it and says "woa", it is so funny. Chris was taking him up the stairs last night and he looked down and said "woa". He has been trying to walk around a bit and has taken up to 10 steps. He is so impressed with himself. Benjamin has also loved having his carseat turned around, I wasn't going to do it initially but tried it our of convenience once and he just giggled and giggle at his new view in the car it must have been like 10-15 minutes before he stopped laughing spontaneously just because he could see where we were going.
There is just so much more I won't even try to write it all but we really love having Benji in our family and even though all these kiddos are a challenge at times I couldn't imagine it any other way.

What a handsome little man! THat is so much fun that Kaatlin finally got her redhaired buddy!
Man, I just can't get over how cute he is! His eyes are gorgeous in that first picture! And he looks super old with that basketball in his hands. Cute!
