Laurel turned 3 years old on July 14th. She is so excited to be 3 and has decided that she is a big girl now. We told her that when she was potty trained we would buy her a princess barbie at the story and this was her only request for her birthday, a princess barbie. So Chris and I were not sure what to do because we always like the kids to have their hearts desire for their birthday but we also wanted a little leverage when it came to potty training. Well, my mom, Grammy, went ahead and made Laurel's birthday by giving her the princess barbie of her dreams and right after this she decides she wants to use the potty. Laurel was just waiting for that princess barbie. The mind of a child. If I had only known Laurel was waiting for that barbie I would have bought it months before. So she is potty trained now and doing great.
Laurel is a spirited girl that seems to rule the roost in our home. Her favorite thing in the world right now is Princesses and she is looking for to our trip to Disneyland in November so she can see Cinderella and hang out with her Grammy. (She doesn't seem to know that the rest of the family is coming:) Laurel is also a tough, opinionated little lady who loves to twirl around in her "pretty" dresses who likes her hair to be long. We love our little sweetie but watch our she can pack a punch, just ask Nathanael.

Oh my goodness, what a pretty little princess! She looks so grown up in these pictures!
These pictures are so beautiful! What a gorgeous little girl! I'm so jealous that you all get to go to Disneyland, I wish we could go too, but we're a little busy right now :(
